Don’t let fine lines bring you down. Now there’s an easy way to diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and further reduce the signs of aging skin. Microdermabrasion is a skin polishing technique using crystals sprayed gently over the skin’s surface and then vacuumed away, taking dull, dead skin cells with it. This process stimulates new skin cell growth, cleans pores, and leaves you with softer skin, while minimizing fine lines, sun damage, age spots, acne scars, enlarged pores, and hyperpigmentation. It’s non-invasive and revitalizes your skin’s texture and appearance.
Our advanced Microdermabrasion system uses pure baking soda crystals instead of the more commonly used aluminum oxide. Although aluminum oxide can do an effective job of abrading the skin, it is a known irritant that leaves most people red and irritated after a treatment. Due to the harsh nature of aluminum oxide, it is necessary to keep treatment a safe distance from the eye and mouth area, leaving the most important areas of the face untreated. Our microdermabrasion system uses pure baking soda crystals to evenly abrade the skin and exposure to baking soda is not harmful and will not irritate even the most sensitive skin. One of the biggest advantages of using baking soda is that the lips and the skin directly under the eye can be treated.
Virtually anyone interested in improving the appearance of his or her skin can benefit from micordermabrasion regardless of age, ethnicity or skin type. Microdermabrasion can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, back, back of arms, and hands, and takes approximately 30 minutes. There is minimal to no downtime with some clients experiencing only minor redness immediately following treatment. A free makeup touch-up is also available after your treatment.
For optimal results micordermabrasion works best after an initial series of 3-6 treatments performed every seven to ten days. Maintenance treatments every month or so, depending on your skin concerns, will ensure that your youthful results remain.
We have several treatment options and microderm combination packages.
